Having attended the Trent Bridge test match for many years without fail, I have to say I am disgusted with the selling arrangements for the 2013 Ashes test. I didn't manage to obtain a ticket simply because I had to work when they went on sale. How on earth do the people who put these selling arrangements in place expect people who have to go to work on a Monday morning to queue for hours either online or on the telephone. It really is not rocket science (or am I missing a trick here). Surely postal applications are the fairer way for everyone. Does anyone have a spare for any of the days play (preferably day 1) but I would be happy with a ticket for any day as things stand. If so please would you let me know. My email address is jason.scholey@yahoo.co.uk Many thanks |

Hi Jason, You have my sympathy. In between work internet restrictions I spent 2 hours online before it crashed. As for trying to get through on the phone, it was either engaged or got through to an answering machine telling me to call back. No F*****G queueing phone system, bunch of clueless muppets. At the time of writing I have been in the online queue for 3 hours. If I get lucky, I will get a spare for you. Good luck. Regards Mark |

I sympathise. Even for members it was farcical at times. They gave me tickets in a variety of stands (5 of us going) and when I rang to ask if members had a priority period to move seats before they went on general sale I was told twice that they didn't. I also emailed and was again told no. There was a priority period but now we're sitting all over the place apart from on day 5. It also makes me sick to see tickets being sold for £1,099.99 online. |

No loyalty shown by Trent Bridge to regular visitors to said venue !!! They don't care they sell tickets to and can charge what they like. Off to india soon, no problems getting tickets. and £7 for a 5 day pass. Mark |
