For those of you staying in Dublin city, the best way to get our to Malahide will e a train from either Pearse station (Close to Temple Bar on the South side of the River Liffey) or from Connolly station (Close to the bus station on the North side of the Liffey, the Luas (tram system) red line runs by it)
Trains cost EUR2.80 and take around 25-30 minutes, from the train station at Malahide it's about a 5 minute walk to the ground.
There's about 3 trains every hour during the morning rush, but with a 10:30 start scheduled for the match, just be aware that after 8:50ish, there isn't another train until around 9:50.

Many people heading over for this?

I see there's a match and accomodation package available for England supporters www.cricketireland.ie/news/article/engl ... ters-offer seems like decent value at £159.

Would be great if there was a good crowd heading over, great way to celebrate an Ashes victory and work on the songs for Oz in the winter :D

Yes. Me and Woody.

Staying in a guesthouse in Swords chosen by Woody. He tells me it promises to be a bit of a step up from the last room we shared (at Gemini Backpackers in Johannesburg). :)

Always a good trip to Dublin and the Paddies have a very good team that will put up a good contest against England.
Malahide Cricket Club has also undergone a lot of redevelopment and holds around 11,500 spectators.
Anyone looking for good but cheap B+B might want to look around the Gardiner Street area - many of them are lumped together under this website.
