Has anybody else applied for the Lords ballot? Due to the timings of my trip back to blighty in July I have applied for the first 2 days of the Lords test and the 5th day which I reckon is a pretty safe bet (I already have days 1,4 & 5 secured for Trent Bridge, which is what I wanted!!) So has anybody else applied and more importantly does anybody else know when we find out??? Having been to numerous one day finals etc at Lords, this will be (quite bizarrely) the first international cricket match I will have attended there!!! Just need to secure my tickets for the World Matchplay Darts, wait on Villa pre season friendlies (although unless anything interesting crops up, ie; a new ground for me and not the annual trip to the Bescot, i'm not too bothered on this one) decide which day to go to Cheltenham for the cricket and keep an eye on Iceland flights to do now Roll on NZ |

Applied via the ballot for 1st class counties members for Ashes Tickets and have already received confirmation regarding that. Entered the online ballot (no idea why I didn't use the same route as the Ashes but hey) for NZ tickets. Apparently you will know by email before the end of January. However, if successful, they may take your money before you receive your confirmation so that could be an indicator. As a Glozzer Member, I'll be doing Cheltenham so might see you there. Will also be in NZ for Wellington and Auckland tests. |

as I've still not been contacted about Lords I'm thinking I've not got any in the ballot - luckily I've got the day off on Friday and Lords appear to have arranged the public sale for the same day |

Received an email this morning saying that I had got my NZ ticket through the ballot. Already had the Ashes one as mentioned above. They did mention that due to unprecidented applications the ballot was delayed and responses are in the process of going out. You should hear by COB tomorrow so don't despair just yet. Fingers crossed. |

I've had no news, so I am guessing I have been unlucky. No doubt there will be some on ebay fairly quickly . |

Not looking good guys, like I said, i'd applied for the first 2 days and the 5th day (as they were cheap, and you never know) I got an email saying I had the 5th day tickets, no mention of anything else!!! I would've thought that they would send an email saying that you've been unsuccessful, but no mention of it!!! To be honest, I think the whole episode has been a shambles, they've constantly moved dates about, extending the ballot etc etc... and now they can't even confirm yes or no with you, I don't hold out much hope for this general sale now, surely everything is sold out!!! |

We can discuss our transfers in this busy transfer window Me Villa !! Your memory fails you I'm afraid. Swindon Town is my particular tipple although I haven't been since 2008. I find following Gloucestershire CCC enough heartache and stress for one person! Looking forward to meeting up in Wellington at HQ. I get there on the 11th. Darren |
