Alex Stewart said on 5 live yesterday not to underestimate them. They have a very useful pace bowling attack. I agree with him on both counts.

I am sure England as a team will not under estimate them at all. But there is no hiding from the fact that on paper, that looks a very, very weak squad. Of course we are all comparing this squad to an unbelievably talented and totally dominant Australian squad of the last 20 years or so.

I dont see them winning a test this summer......... ;)

It's the finest Aussie squad in over 4 years. As long as they can handle the bitter cold of the English summer they will prevail.

We're coming for you!

Boxing Day in Melbourne, 2006/7 Ashes - it was 11 degrees C and snowing in the 'country'. The myth of the sunny Aussie summer was well and truly busted!!

December 27th in Melbourne 2010/11 Ashes - Didn't make it past Flinders street station before deciding to watch the day's play from a local alcoholic beverage point because it was so feckin cold!!

No shame at all, for those of us that were there it made the next encounter at the MCG 4 years later all the sweeter..........when we beat you by an innings and f@#king plenty.

Tell me. Were you one of the 90K in on boxing day morning 2010 and part of the 80k that was back home eating Christmas leftovers by 3 O'clock that afternoon???

The only thing more woeful than your current cricket team is the pea hearts that pretend to support them.

Welcome to the forum BTW :D

No, I don't go to Melbourne.... The depressive weather reminds me too much of England
