Going up to Trent bridge for Saturday and Sunday.

Got tickets.. Liked at accommodation in Nottingham.. Very expensive. Apparently 10k run on as well as cricket.

Any tips on places to stay. Don't mind staying somewhere slightly outside notts as long as easy public transport I.e won't have to drive.

Thanks in advance!

I think your best bet might be to look for accommodation in a town that's on a train line that feeds into Nottingham, as anything in the city itself will be very expensive. Grantham is 40 minutes on the train and a decent town; failing that I'd imagine you should be able to get somewhere to stay in Leicester.

We're here Tuesday-Friday. Poor reviews but that's part of the fun right?!

Bloody hell Trev ! even the reasonable reviews seem dodgy - poor grammar and seem like they were written by the same person whose second language is English. Best of British matey, although I've undoubtedly stayed in much worse.

"Like camping. In Prison. In Beirut." Sounds like we're in for an interesting stay! I always book our trips away, and go for the worst/cheapest places I can find. Part of the fun of the trip!
