I'd welcome any thoughts on the above story and please no 'everybody-has-their-right-to speak-their-mind' nonsense.
Two questions:
Do the illIll-informed comments of David Campese, the racist journalism of Sydney's Daily Telegraph and the rubber-stamping of them by the always thoughtful and impartial Doug Walters demonstrate that racism is alive and kicking in Australia?

Is Walters still a Tv commentator and if so, thinking of the Gray-Keys sexism episode, would he still be in a job in England?

Thast my friend is known as contradiction. You say "any thoughts" but only want those that concur with your own. Do you want debate or not?
Incidentally, nothing new here really is there? They've abused the indigenous people so long they've got bored and moved on to everyone not born white Australian.

Agree with what the poster above ha stated. If you are going to have freedom of speech, then this has to extend to those considered a 'minority' opinion.

I don't like this 'modern Liberal elite' way of thinking where all views are allowed except those who are disagreed with.

Surely you are better off trying to point out the error of their ways than suppression?

For the record I actually find it laughable that Australians are being tarred with the racist brush again. The majority of Australians that I have worked with are as tolerant and open minded as they come.

Please try and get out more rather than relying on stereotypes from the past ;)

Sorry my friend but I did'nt see ANY Aboriginal people in anything other than what we would call a dishevelled state. Nor were they 'hanging' with their white buddies. Try telling them there's no racism in Aus.
