Anyone else at the Rose Bowl last night? Got to say that's about the coldest I've been at a cricket match in this country, abroad it would have to be MCG Boxing Day 2006. For both occasions, a thick winter coat would have helped!

I did go to Moscow once when it was minus 32C but at least I had about 10 layers on then!!

One of the reasons why (apart from maybeT20) D/N cricket doesn't work in this country.

Not in mid September anyway. I have advocated d/n even for county championship in June,July and early Aug. Does give people at least a chance to look in after work.

ps Southern softies. ;)

All the southerners were warming themselves up on lattes before eventually giving up and going home, all the northerners were sat in shirt sleeves eating mushy peas. It was amazing!!!
