Will be amazed if it's anything other than Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados

Agreed, with Barbados being the middle one,so anyone thinking of doing 2 Tests like me,will have to do Barbados (even though i' ve done Barbados twice and don't want to do it again). I did Trinidad last time, now would like to do Jamaica and Antigua, can't see it happening though.

Perhaps need to do a bit of early planning/a session for this when you get back from Aus Rob. Having a good time ?

Not sure how the ECB work with regards to scheduling but is this tour likely to go ahead or even be reduced to a 2 test series? Or even how long before a tour does it usually take to announce venues/dates?

With 2015 World Cup final on 29th march in Australia seems a quick turn around for a 3 game series. Then considering the West Indies take t20 more seriously these days and fact IPL usually April starting to doubt it.

Hope not as few of us hoping to do this tour.

I could handle it being reduced to two tests but will be very disappointed if this tour was to be cancelled. Would the ECB not have been fully aware of the World Cup and the IPL before announcing tour plan and as such it would seem unrealistic for it to then be cancelled. The sooner the dates and venues are announced the better!!

If you take into account the intended changes to the international set-up, theres a very good chance we may not tour here, or indeed anywhere apart from Aus, India and SA anytime soon. Its worrying but when you look at the number of test matches which have been literally tossed aside in the last few years, it perhaps makes sense to wait for FINAL agreements on this tour (or any other) are signed off before making concrete plans.
Sorry to p.ss on your chips a little, looking to do this tour myself.

Sound advice. We've had regulars in the past who have booked flights on spec before the dates were officially announced and ended up not getting to see a whole lot of cricket. I seem to recall one who was intending to watch both Tests in a tour of Bangladesh who ended up only getting to see a couple of ODIs and no Test cricket at all!

I've just glanced at the 2009 archive. The Windies tour was announced on 27th May 2008. The tour started on 25th Feb with a 3 day game, and finshed on 3rd April with a 1 dayer in St Lucia. There's only supposed to be 3 Tests,so who knows what the dates will be.

Just seen this on Cricinfo suggesting that Jamaica/Guyana/Grenada might be the three test match locations

http://www.espncricinfo.com/west-indies-v-england-2013-14/content/story/727439.html

Does anyone think this will actually happen?
Or will the WICB change their mind and go back to the trusted Jamaica/Antigua/Barbados combo?
