Just seen this on Cricinfo suggesting that Jamaica/Guyana/Grenada might be the three test match locations

Does anyone think this will actually happen?
Or will the WICB change their mind and go back to the trusted Jamaica/Antigua/Barbados combo?

I would be quite pleased if that is the case but would rather swap jamaica with either barbados or st Lucia

My guess is that they're just playing politics. They probably don't like being given Tests in Chester-le-Street in May, together with the possibility of not getting a Lord's Test, and are trying to use this as a bargaining tool. A bit like the BCCI got upset with playing World Cup games at less high profile venues like Hove, and has gleefully sent us (or mooted the idea of sending us) to Ahmedabad on just about every tour since!

However The WICB is strapped for cash and could certainly use the revenue from the big spending holiday crowds in Barbados and Antigua, so it would be a major surprise if Barbados especially didn't get a Test. Having said that, I don't think most of us would be "irked." Quite the opposite in a lot of cases I suspect!

Why do Barbados think they should have a Test against England every time. Yes,it is a nice place and the beaches are top notch, but jesus christ, let someone else who's not had the pleasure of the English spending their money on their island have a go.

I emailed ecb and reply said that it could be the summer before dates and venues are announced as the ecb won't announce until it's all guaranteed. My fiancée isn't impressed as I said we would know by April at latest when she agreed to get married out there. Some people on here thought tour may even get canceled so not sure if that's still a possibility.
