Oh this should be good.......so what have you got fella??? In 5 posts to date you've made one factual f#$k up so your "sporting knowledge" isn't looking too flash so far.

I'm sure we'd all welcome an Aussie here that actually did want to discuss cricket, but you and the 100's that have come before you have never actually managed this feat.

So, do you want to act like a grown up and discuss our great sport or are you going to continue to carry on like a child, flaming a long standing and highly respected member of this board???

I'll start you off and we'll see how we go.......

Australia is currently ranked 10th in the ICC T20 rankings below Ireland, Bangladesh and NZ...

The last person on here to refer to Strauss as "Johan" was Giraffe and his multiple guises.

Coincidence?

I think it's just coincidence.

There are certain similarities in terms of mentality, but that's par for the course. Going back a few years to when they had a good team, I used to think they had a factory in Kalgoorlie or somewhere similar churning out characters like that.

Strangely when their team stopped being good, things suddenly went quieter than a Boxing Day afternoon crowd at an MCG Ashes Test.

 Love it!!

I often wonder what was the bigger humiliation for Australia that day.........was it getting bowled out for 98, or having 90,000 in at the start of play and only 20,000 Brits still there by tea :o

Perhaps our new friend would like to explain to us all how such a thing could happen on the biggest day in their cricketing calendar??

Are you really that thick lofthouse?? Do you not see the point here?? What Harv said back then has just been reinforced by what happened this year.

In 2010/11 days 3 onward were played in empty grounds save for the English. The MCG test was the biggest example of your nations pathetic attempt to support your team through tough times. 90+K in in the morning and around 20K left at tea time. This year you had 96K in and they were still streaming in at tea.

Hmmmmmm, wonder what could be the difference????

The Australian cricket team is to be congratulated on their success and you should be rightly proud of them, but know that when it comes to supporting your team your nation is full of bandwagoners who are only there for the good times and go missing in the bad.........you have won the cricket but you will never, ever compete with England for heart, soul and loyalty in the stands..........oh and add brains to that too.

Unless you're a clinically-stupid idiot-savant ( look it up ) then you appear to be missing the point he was making.
You only sing when you're winning.
At the first sign of losing you desert the grounds in your tens of thousands and prefer to go Boxing Day shopping with the missus.
Even Ricky Ponting declared the Barmy Army the best cricket supporters in the world.
YOUR Ricky Ponting.

Congratulations!

You have managed to both miss my point and perfectly illustrate it all at once.

That takes a special kind of talent.
