www.espncricinfo.com/australia-v-south- ... 94213.html Funny, I got mixed feelings about this. As much as we all love to hate him, I think we do so with a certain amount of respect for him as a batsmen. Been shite for a few years now, but before that.....f#$%k he was good. |

A very sad day indeed for english cricket, we really wanted him to come over for one final humiliation next year Anyway Punter, thanks for the memories, here's a few for now The Gary Pratt run out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wSIzbSQ_Kw The Kevin Pietersen not caught behind and the aftermath http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH7rDItnIAk LBW against India |

Obviously couldn't handle the pressure of both playing and umpiring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew7tY8Q3Trw |

Mixed feeling but at this point it is a little disrespectful to say something bad about a guy so thanks for some good memories and enjoy your retirement. Obviously my view should'nt stop anyone else from having a pop, rude not to. ps Sachin, you might want to give this move some thought r.e. timing mate. |

A lot of respect for one of the all time great batsmen, a tough opponent for many years & one you would definetely want in your side. Sometimes overstepped the mark with Umprires particularly recently & involved in my 2 favourite run outs (Pratt & Flintoff). And the way he chewed that gum - didn't so much chew it as teach it a lesson!! So long Punter it's been fun. |
