Let me just ask you one thing Mr Cuthbert. If you'd spent a couple of grand on following your country thousands of miles away, and you heard that one,or maybe several of the team were out near the end of the Test getting rat-legged,and therefore could cost(and i know it didn't)the team a result, would you not be a tad pissed off?

FWIW, I simply don't buy this story given the way Andy Flower and his backroom staff run England.
They would be fully aware if a player was that pissed that it affected his game the next day and he would be punished accordingly.
And even if he was out having a few jars we don't the facts behind it, just second-hand
tittle-tattle from someone who " heard it from a mate. "
Perhaps he'd had some bad news, maybe a friend had died or he'd had a furious row with the missus over the 'phone.
Whatever the reason surely England players should be allow to relax in peace knowing there's not some busybody snopping on their every move simply because they're lucky and talented enough to earn a few bob.
Envy is a terrible thing.

FWIW, I simply don't buy most of the garbage you put on this site, presumably under the influence of the rubbish that you smoke. For that reason I won't be responding to the poorly conceived tripe that you have posted.

For the rest of you, I stand by the 'story', it was told to me in good faith and the lads present did not want to expose the players either. Their and my reasons being that the last day was eventually washed out so no actual harm was done. That does'nt mean its ok it means they were lucky and got away with it. The Bothemesque stories are usually ficticious or exaggerated, they also never tell us stories about the players who get out 2nd ball with a steaming hangover.

So why, dangle the carrot then? Either name them and you certainly seem to want to 'shame' them or, well shut the hell up.

If you had asked, maybe even politely, then you could have received a pm. As all you seem to want is titillation, I'll let you get back to 'The Sun'.

Excellent, thanks for clarifying.

So, you weren't there and the lads who were didn't want to expose the players but still you felt the need to tar all of England's pace bowlers and anyone else who fitted your descriptions of those present with the same brush.

For what purpose ? Presumably so the England management would learn of the incident and conduct their own investigation.

Again, you didn't witness the event but just wanted to stir the sh!t because you have your own agenda.

Classy.Very classy.

I don't wanna get involved in the argument, but have to confess I am now doubting our three fast bowlers, even though it sounds like only 1 is guilty.

That my friend is the crux of the matter. On paper we should have bowled them into the floor. Their mediocre attack outperformed ours twice. You start to ask yourself why and look for a reason ???
I'm not saying they all were guilty, and that hopefully it was a one off incident, it just makes it look more than co-incidental.

Anyone who has the nous to read the dross you have served up on here, in the thankfully short period you have infested the site, will know what an objectionable sh.t you actually are. If it wasn't for that I would be offended by someone insinuating that I lacked class.
As its you, I will treat it with the contempt you deserve, dear old thing.

I think your ongoing effluvia of bile towards anyone who doesn't agree with your attempts to grass up an England cricketer is rather sad and, if I may say so, a little demeaning towards yourself.

But, like your prurient and unctuous trading of second-hand begrudgery, not at all surprising.

As a previous poster says, put up or shut up.

So, just an hour and three quarters to look up those fine words. Why don't you go and roll something that will ease your troubled mind, then you can return a little later and we'll see the real you as usual.
Last word from me, you can drivel on to your hearts content.
Anyone who I know who really does want the names can pm me, oooh I can be spiteful with this bile.
