Anyone with nothing to do who fancies a game at the top of Kilimanjaro this September please contact me at David.Harper@HotelPartnersAfrica.com.

We are organizing a game of cricket for Cancer Research and Tusk (an anti poaching charity) and we are a short a few players.

It is anticipated it will cost each participant £1,800 (including flights and trekking) and we are hoping to raise over £500,000 for both charities. You don't have to be a good cricketer - just slightly mad and very enthusiastic about raising money for the charities.

The official world record is 5,140m, so this will (hopefully) be recognized as a world record - so not only will we be helping beat cancer and stop poaching, but we will all be able to claim to be Guinness world record holders....

Please let me know if you fancy it.

I'm
a bit (lot) too old to consider that type of challenge but wish you every success with it. I'm sure there arequite a few of the younger members who would be 'game' if you get sufficient publicity early enough for them to raise the money.
Could I suggest contacting the cricket mags as well, if you haven't already. Good luck.
