It reminds me of when football clubs 'promised' that they would 'only' change their strips every two years, alternating between home and away bi-annually.
Yeah right. My own lot now have three, changed EVERY year.
Once sports latch onto a money maker it takes Heaven and Earth to prise it away from them. Remember, there's no FTP from next year, they'll do what suits them most, and that means make money.
Hope I'm wrong but you wouldn't put it past them.

Sorry if I missed something but can someone explain why the Aussies are back here next year ? I understand why we played back to back last year (to get the Ashes tour away from the world cup) but why are they back so soon ? Surely it should be summer 2017 ? I would thought that if it was blatantly money making, they would have at least left it until 2016.

Well they won't be getting my money.

They will not get my money either. Its a total disgrace that no test is north of trent bridge again. Those who run the game in this country have no idea what they are doing. Clueless and not fit for office.Time for Giles Clarke and his cronies to go. They are ruining our summer game for the people.

Yes Andy hello and hello to all! I have been reading this forum for a while so thought I would get that one off my chest for a start. I have nothing against the oval but there is no fair play here at all.I do not remember the last series at home when they missed out on a test. As for Cardiff why should they get another ashes test so soon? Its not the biggest of grounds and if I remember the last test they had I think sri lanka was poorly attended. Old Trafford who have spent money on developing their ground not a look in. Headingly host Newzealand though even if they only played them last year so I am sure the Yorkshire public will be real chuffed with that . All in all I do not think they could mess it up even more if they tried!!
