I've been the victim of a mankad before, and despite this being with no prior warning, and at the time being extremely cheesed off, when the umpire (one of my own team) gave me out, I was happy to accept that and walk off!!! What followed was a full on argument between both teams and eventually I was walking back out to carry on batting, despite my mind being totally gone by then, I was telling myself to make them pay, only to be clean bowled straight through bat and pad the very next delivery!!!
In hindsight I wish we'd just stuck with the mankad, at least then I would've had a decent tale to tell when I got back to the club and having a drink and a chat with all the other teams ;)
