At the recent Melbourne conference the ICC executive committee has elected it 5 officers as W. Edwards (CA), G. Clarke (ECB), N. Srinivasan (BCCI), D. Cameron (WICB) and N. Sethi (PCB). The responsibilities of this committee are :
"All financial (including ICC distributions and costs), constitutional, personnel (other than event personnel), anti-corruption, ethics, integrity, development and director nominations matters".
In other words they will completely run world cricket.
I find it incredible that CSA are not represented, as until very recently they were the no 1 test team. Can it be that the top three didn't want anyone to rock the boat and that the WICB and PCB reps. would just do as they were told.
The ICC are looking like FIFA more and more each day.
Should we be worried ? Should we care ?

"The crux of the reworked ICC revenue model is that India will be getting lion's share from the revenue that ICC generates from hosting the three major world events. With the new financial model, India will be entitled to a "contribution cost" - participation fee in world events - which is nearly double of all the other nine full members combined. Assuming that the ICC generates USD 3000 million, India will be entitled to 21.9% while the other nine boards put together will get 12.6%."

Interesting ! This means that while India gets 21.9%, the others, including England, get 1.4% each. Seems like a good deal !!
