Just joined Barmy army and looking to go to Aus to watch England hammer them into the ground. Probably do Melbourne and Sidney as we have friends in melbourne. Hoping to stop on way for a few days and then maybe do Cape Town on way back as i put up my clubs overseas player last year and hoping for some pay back hospitality. So anyone who might have some good advice for a first time tourer it would be much appreciated. |

You will need a round the world ticket for this one and the cheapest option will most likely be the BA/QANTAS Round the World Discovery ticket. The ticket would allow you to use a combination of BA and Qantas flights only. Fly UK to Melbourne prior to Chrismas, onwards then to Sydney for New Year and after the test you can take a direct Sydney - Johannesburg flight all on Qantas metal. From Johannesburg, BA will take you to Cape Town and then back up to the UK. You can expect to pay excess of £1800-2000 for this at that time of year. Key to RTW fares is to book early. Prices are fixed but availability is limited. |

Thanks for your help just need to convince the wife that 10 days of cricket is a good idea  |
