Just thought i'd list a few of Lofthouse/H3rmit's threads/posts on other sports forums

Nothing serious, just a quick snapshot of what makes this complete nutcase tick

This one was posted in 2011:
Quote:
Australia are back again as the undisputed top cycling nation in the world,we lead the medal toll in Holland,..6 gold-2 silver-& 1 bronze, compared to 1-5-3 by the poms.....Shane Perkins gave Chris Hoy a hiding in the mens Keirin, and Anna Mears likewise hammered Victoria Pendelton in the womens sprint,so with only one more days competition to go we are in an unassailable position, my guess is that both Hoy & Pendleton will retire before the 2012 Olympics rather than face a humiliation.

Some great insights re swimming back in 2010
Quote:
I think the results in theCommonwealth Games swimming events will now dispel forever any notion that England are a "Swimming Nation"" all this blabbing their supporters have given out recently has obviously been imaginary, they have been totally embarrassed by the Aussies.

Just after the 2010 cycling track world cup
Quote:
In Beijing England won more gold medals than Australia because they dominated in cycling,..in the world track cycling cup just finished in Melbourne Australia have whitewashed all the other nations cyclists to the tune of eight (I think) gold medals, whilst the poms were only able to scramble a couple....I think Anna Mears won three for Australia, she easily beat Pendleton the pommie girl that took the gold at Beijing due to Mears not being fully fit after recovering from a near fatal crash only months earlier..so this is another sport the poms will say is an "insignificant sport" because we are now superior to them.

He just builds himself up for a fall EVERY TIME

More to follow.....

When someone is so obsessive about England over such a long time and across sports and forums you begin to wonder whether he's been pyschologically damaged by a past incident.

Maybe he's ashamed of the criminal record of some of his ancestors.

Or perhaps he was just dumped by his English boyfriend.

Another classic from Lofthouse in 2007, just before Melbourne Storm RL team had their titles stripped for cheating. He sets himself up for a fall in every sport in post about

Quote:
In the world club championship final Melbourne Storm beat Leeds Rhinos 18/10 at Elland Road (Leeds Uniteds Soccer ground....I think it is about time these games were played alternately in Australia & England,..I think England have had a fair suck of the sausage with "home" matches, and it will give us a stronger chance of "rubbing it in" if we get 50% of the games on our turf

and some more cycling bravado back in 2010 followed by months of predictions from our favourite village idiot that the Brits were a spent force in cycling!!

Quote:
The demolition continues in the cycling,England (I believe)have a full compliment of their road racing cyclist in Delhi and yet they are getting a hammering,Cavendish was reduced to rubbish in the road race, and ended up looking like a dejected schoolboy in the last 2 kilometres of the race. I'm afraid he is very much overrated, and needs stronger team mates to drag him through most of the races he rides in.....Our girl won the womens road race so the poms are only getting the dregs from the cycling.

WHEN WILL YOU EVER LEARN???

From The Fanatics Forum:

Pretty soon the Commonwealth Games will commence in Glasgow and I imagine the painful horrors for the Poms will continue on, in the previous 5 games over a period of 20 years Australian dominance has been overwhelming their medal tally must have been gut wrenching for the poms and Canadians, In one Games our tally of Gold medals exceeded the combined total by England Canada & India who finished 2nd 3rd & 4th on the final tables....it will be nice to see the poms squirming again after the Rugby League World Cup and the Ashes.

I must admit that until a couple of weeks ago I'd forgotten that the Commonwealth Games were even happening this summer, but I couldn't look at the medals table without being reminded of that gem of a post!

I've been following the games intently with this very post in my mind all the time. No idea how to find it but I was sure someone else would remember. Bit concerned the 1st week when the swimming was on but thankfully all the home nations did well. No chance of an Aussie now.(apart from Mitch and BobbyTony who are exceptional)
