Post subject: Tickets for one days games in Barbados - 27/29 March

 All of a sudden (!) I have a bit of time on my hands and a bit of money in my pocket, so I'm thinking of going to Barbados with my son for the one day games. I can get flights and accomodation, but does anyone have any idea how I can get a couple of tickets for each game please?

 I am also off to these two games. Tickets should be available out there. Go to the ground a day or two before the game and buy from there, should be fine.

 I bought tickets over the phone two weeks ago without any problems. I'm just going to make sure I pick them up at the ground a couple of days before the first game to avoid any queues

locals are not avin it...too expensive

 Hi jenks do you mind if i ask where your stopping the only place i can find available is silver sands and reading the reviews it looks very isolated and 35 mins from the oval. If i book seperate flights and then search accomdation its running into nearly £2000 for a week for 2 people.

 Timbo.. Me and a couple of mates are staying at Barbados beach club seemed like they had plenty of room and reasonable price.

 Hi Timbo

I have booked to stay at the Silver Sands Hotel for 6 nights from 24 March through Virgin Holidays. It only cost £663 per person, which was about £250 per person less than anything else I could find. Yes, it is a little way out from Bridgetown, but you can hire a mini-moke to get you around. It's great fun and it will still cost way less than staying anywhere else. Virgin provide free transfers to and from the airport, so wait until you get there to book a car.

From what I can find out, tickets will be easy to obtain. WICB ticketing dept say tickets cost between US$25-75 and can be bought there, or direct by phone from their Barbados office. Gullivers Travel also have tickets available for £77 each in the UK, tel 01684 293175.

Can't wait to go now!!

 I have booked Dover Beach hotel for 2 weeks from 20th March for £900. Have been in contact with the hotel and they are going to arrange the tickets for the two ODI. Have asked for Hall and Griffith upper and when I spoke to Kensington ticket office they also said there should be no problem with tickets.

The agents over here are having a laugh with their ticket prices!

 I am also staying at the Silver Sands and hoping to go to the matches.

If anyone want's to join up to get to the cricket to keep the cost down (taxi/mini bus etc)then please let me know.
