The most controversial Corridor of Uncertainty article I've heard about, and from one of the most moderate BA voices I know! Those who've read it... what does everyone think, then? |

Yep - I read it in Antigua, and have to say it is one of the best written, well researched articles I've ever seen. I PM'd Harvey some time ago to congratulate him. Cracking articles like his should be published in the mainstream media. Well done fella! |

I read it, great article. Some of the examples from the past are mental. Can't see how it's controversial though? |

A fair few travelling fans on the official BA tour inferred from the article that Big H was criticising their style of touring. Several had a bitter honk at Clarky, who had a big grin on his face for much of the tour due to increased sales as a result of the controversy! Personally I think criticism was inferred rather than implied, but it's a subtle distinction when you're on the rum... |

As ever another good read from Big Harvey, top stuff. Those on the Official Barmy Army tour were all first timers, there were none that have toured with the BA official tours before. This was a "soft" tour compared to touring the sub continent. They have not stayed in cheap hotels in Dhaka, Mumbai, Durban, Colombo, Harare etc etc as BH, Clarky, etc have. As Clarkys shirts say " Keeping it Real" this is what we've been doing for years. As Big Harv says "Touring ain't what it use to be." You enjoy your tours, the rest of us will enjoy ours in our way. |

That's a really ridiculous statement. Plenty of people on the official BA tour to the Windies have been to Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, and India. Those people tend to go on the BA tour to save time sorting it out for themselves. |

Not so sure Crouchy, how many do the BA tour once, find themselves sitting next to people who have paid half the price and decide there'll do it themselves next time. If you want to spend that sort of money touring then fair do, but they should not have a "bitter honk" at the likes of Clarky. The article was about how the players use to tour years ago and how they have it soft these days. Why should the supporters with the BA Tour feel they were being criticised by Harveys article. |

I've just read it again and I cant see anything that should bother someone doing the Official Barmy Army Tour. |
