If anyone comes across a You Tube vid of the hatrick can you post the link please??? Just looked and there doesn't appear to be one as yet. Please please please Fred......do the right thing and sit out the IPL nonsense for this year!! England needs you!!!....there will be plenty of time to make your bag loads of cash later on.....you can not be risked right now. |

So,do you think that we can look forward to a torrent of criticism being aimed at HIM like I'm sure will be directed at a certain other individual ? |

If Freddie gets an injury playing in the IPL, and has to sit the summer out counting his $1.5M, he will sure as hell, come in for some sort of criticism. Especially on this forum, and that will also make any criticisms aimed at KP look like friendly banter. |

In some peoples eyes KP will never be able to do anything right. The situation for KP and Freddie and this IPL stuff is very different IMO. KP is fit enough right now to take on these commitments.....Big Fred isn't. I've got my doubts if Fred can last 5 Ashes test as it is, without f@#king around in the IPL. If Flintoff plays in the IPL and then breaks down in the Ashes, he'll have a lot to answer for....him being fit and firing is the only hope (albeit a very slim one) that we've got. The way I see it is, Flintoff has maybe only got another 1-2 years in him at best of test cricket. He can then happily retire and play in the IPL to his hearts content and make his money. FFS put your country first and make sure your 100% for whats coming up. |
