My first trip to the West Indies allowed me to take in 2 ODI's, both at the Kensington. I got to see England at their worst on the Friday and then a team with a completely different mind set win on Sunday. Highlight of the matchs? Well, it has to be Gayles innings in the 3rd ODI though it was closely followed by Mazzy coming back after being hit for 24? in one over in the 3rd ODI to get 3 wickets in the 4th ODI. What put the biggest smile on my face? Flintoff kicking the ropes after his catch in the 4th ODI, back to his cheeky self with a huge smile on his face. Just a big thanks to all those other guests at the Island Inn who made the non cricket days (and nights) so great and I have to apologise for the rain. record so far. 6 England matches (not one full day seen yet) 1 lasted 1hr 20. 1 washed out (Durham) 4 rain effected. |
