i was one of the england fans that spent my hard earned dosh going to support our national cricket team at jamaica sabrina park.i was totaly ashamed of team after the game.the west indies team came out walked round the ground waved and shook hands with the fans etc etc.the england team didnt even come out of the changing room to clap the fans and say thanks for comming.we supported them throu every ball bowled and spent a lot of money going to watch them over there.the least they could have done was just give us a clap.who the hell do they think they are .i was looking forward to maybe shaking handswith a couple of them after the game and wishing them well for the next game.but nothing not even a clap or nod of the head of any of them to say thanks for comming.well done to the west indies who know how to treat the fans how to sake hands with the fans etc.etc.well what do you guys think on this topic.win loseor draw when you go and watch england play away from home the england players should just show the fans a bit of respect and say thanks for comming.its not to much to ask.

Catch22 this one.

If England had of come out, the stick they would have got would have been horrendous. It was a shocking batting effort, I can't blame them for hiding away on this occasion. The Windies came out and did a lap of honour - because they won. There was no sign of them after the debacle at Sir Viv's stadium in Antigua because they knew the fans (Windies fans) would give them stick - even though I appreciate it was no fault of their's. Actually, quite often the Windies crowd can often give them fearful stick from the boundary at any given point.

Of course, England did do a decent public relations exercise after the Antigua test was abandoned and came round posing for photos etc and thanking people for coming.

Get used to it - they didn't bother in Chennai for 100 of us after all the terror problems so they are hardly gonna' bother for 1000 plus in Jamaica after being skittled for 50 odd. I was sat near the players balcony in Jamaica and about six of them had their feet up on the balcony getting some sun on their legs at 30-7. Can't say I was that impressed.

Personally I'm not bothered about being applauded or not as I don't go for that!!

There was maybe 50 of us at the end of Mohali and a no show from the players! We got turfed out of the ground at the end and had to exit the ground in a roundabout way as we stayed too late!

I too was at Sabina Park, and all I can remember is that one very high profile player did come out of the pavilion at the end of the game and signed a few autographs for some fans who were sat by the walkway entrance to the England dressing room.

The West Indies team did a major lap of honour for their fans, and good luck to them. To the victor the spoils in my view.

I have to say that I wasn't feeling that keen on seeing many of our team, as I thought that a bloody good bollocking was what should have been taking place, at that particular time.

And they didn't bother at Mohali for about 20 of us!

Don't go for that either Rich, but as we go to cheer them on, it would be nice for them to show a bit of common courtesy.
