Internal flights now booked. Bit of a shame it did not get moved really, I quite fancied a trip to Bangalore. |

I could have done Chennai or Bangalore, but Mohali simply didn't fit with my flights/leave/etc. Shame. |

Broad was also critical of facilities, especially of handling of movement around the sightscreen, in Mohali, which hosted a Test during the India-Australia series and is the venue for the next match between India and England. I S Bindra, the president of the Punjab Cricket Association, said the sightscreen issue had been rectified. "I think it was minor aberration in a five-day affair. But at the same time, it should not be repeated," he told PTI. "Besides, we have installed mega-sized sightscreen this time, even though it cost us some 500-600 seats." Last time (March 2006) it beggar'd belief that people in a cricket ground had no concept of "behind the bowlers arm", but suppose they didn't care as India won comfortably then. |
