For those who have their Indian visa but cancelled their trip due to the messing about over venues, www.lastminute.com have flights to Delhi with Air France/KLM for under £400, departing on Monday, and returning in the early hours of Xmas Eve morning. Even if the game goes the distance, you should still have time to get a quick shower and a taxi up to Delhi in time for your flight home. The very cheapest options have inconvenient stopovers, but for about £385, they have flights out of London City with only very short stops both there and back. You heard the contingent in Chennai drowning out several thousand locals today. Well, imagine what a few more could do in Mohali where you're likely to have the ground to yourselves, almost! |
