I am laughing at the Barmy Army noticing that the locals wear tank tops and going to buy them and wear them at the cricket etc etc. This is not new. I was on the India tour in 2001 and a group of people did this then. One of them was Mad Dog and one was phil Long (BBC Phil he is called). There were also others like Mountain bike Mike and Graham and Clarky too. Anyway my point is this, why orgnise an official tank top day? If u had any brains you would have just done it off your own bats like they did in 2001. |

Well if you could explain your point I'll happily retract my statement. It seems to me you are suggesting that they should have all independently without mentioning it to each other spontaneously purchased tank tops to wear to the cricket. That would have been a remarkable coincidence. |

None of them look remotely like tanks as well. Perhaps its a reference to big Graham ? Ziggy Rommel |

My point, Huey Lad lad is that the Barmy Army had it on the home page of the site as if it was official army instructions to wear tank tops. I notice the tank top thing appears to have now gone from the site. Perhaps the Army have realised the error of their ways. At the end of the day people wearing tank tops in Mohali is not big news as all the locals do it anyway. The next big news will be that the Barmy Army drank cups of tea. And ate samosas. HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!!! By the way, unoficial reports say that big Graham had to be surgically removed from his tank top. Very painful aparently!! |
