A big thank you goes out from us to all who helped out at the two Tests on India. Too many to name as almost everyone there at some point held a door open or made room for the wheelchair around a table at the very least. You all know who you are. Huge thank you to Simon however for arranging the wheelchair from the Taj. (We did return it by the way). Without that Chennai would have been a nightmare. Biggest thanks to Jay, for sticking out the tour despite everything. |

John/Jay Glad to hear you both made it back safe and sound. Hope you didn't enounter too much agro getting the cast removed during lunch day 5. Shame we couldn't stay to see the end of what turned out to be a great test, mainly for off field reasons! Top marks for all those who attended Johns impromptu Day 4 evening drinking den crawl and all the Daves, Johns, Toms and Matts I met. Look forward to catching you both at the Oval during the summer...... Ian(not Dave) |

jonh/jay.it was a pleasure to .....on a roll when i got back,my daughter's singing mohali jungle,father inlaw love's his tanktop.nearly got the misses up for s/a untill igot my photo;s back.i'll get e-mail of ian not dave and send some photos.1st time away and what fun.the cricket weren't bad either.cheers to all the bods we met.see u at the oval. from conti dave not ian |

I echo all that and would like to say that India 2008 was the best tour (after NZ 2008) I've ever been on. Great people, great banter and not bad cricket either. If Bob Key was there instead of Bell we'd have a famous series victory to celebrate......probably Brown/Charlton/Matt/Rodders/Bob Keys Fan Club member no1 P.S. Ian - I think you should head up to the valley sometime before the end of the season, while we're still a championship club! |
