In the beginning we produced hymn sheets that we called Songs of Praise until a certain BBC TV Programme asked us very kindly not to. In 2005 we launched Barmy Harmonies that had the song lyrics of its predecessors, but we developed more and more content, including interviews with past and present England players. Now Barmy Harmonies is the name reserved for our smaller tour magazines whilst 2008 sees us launch a new magazine which is free for members, but you can also buy it online or in stores.

We met up with Monty Panesar to talk about learning curves, Barmy Army support and playing against the greats.

It's a long time ago now, but the effects of the Fredalo incident are still being felt and highlight a wider issue.

Because you never get tired of hearing the best in cricket sledges as the game's greats and not-so-greats do battle.

Everything in this magazine was written before the trauma of the Ashes - happier times. Highlights include interviews with Hoggy and Gatting.

An injury jinx, the eviction of the trumpet, a look back at two Asian tours and 25-a-side games of cricket. It was all going on in 2006.

The original Barmy Harmonies from the ultimate summer of summers. You barely need to read it - just think back to what was happening.
