Australia 2013/14 > Sydney - Barmy Army New Year's Eve Party
We are delighted to confirm arrangements for our exclusive Barmy Army New Year's Eve Party which will be held as in 2010/11 at the Paragon Hotel, on Circular Quay in Sydney enabling us all to Enjoy Sydney's world famous New Year's Eve in style and comfort in a brilliant location in the heart of the Quay.
Recently refurbished since we were last there, the Hotel is set over 2 levels and has an outside bar area and is an iconic venue that has been the HQ for both The British Lions supporters as well as our HQ on the last tour. With many fireworks going off from the adjacent buildings you're in a brilliant location to sample the atmosphere and have access to the bars whilst entertainment will be one of Sydney's Premier Bands performing the "COLDPLAY Tribute Show" who will be playing sets throughout the evening, along with some of Sydney's Top DJ's, no doubt adapting plenty of the Barmy Army's favourite anthems to entertain the locals outside with our wit and humour!
Pass outs will be available throughout the night but we have been warned that the Police have a very strict policy on the numbers of people who are allowed to enter the Quay to watch the fireworks and to join in the festivities so arriving early is strongly advised. Doors open at 6pm and the Paragon will trade through to the early hours of the morning.
The event was sold out in 2010/11 so we highly recommend booking your ticket in advance.
The cost for members is £30, Non Members £35.
Unfortunately there is no admittance for those under 18.
Our online booking system is now closed, but you can still buy your tickets on the door, at the Christmas lunch or at our merchandise stands at P.J.s and the Turf Bar in Melbourne at a cost of $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Please remember to bring your membership card along as proof of membership.
