We’re pleased to announce Amvia as our new business communications partner.
You may already be aware, over the past couple of years we’ve been focusing on modernising the Barmy Army to keep firmly in touch with the digital age.
Part of this development has been moving into our new headquarters at the Globe Works in Sheffield – vibrant office space that we feel matches the passion of us Barmy lot!
The group has grown incredibly since that first Ashes tour of Australia in 94, and we’re showing no signs of slowing down. To make sure we’re always connected with our members, followers, partners (and each other!), the next stage of development included considerably upgrading our communications.
The new VoIP (voice over internet protocol) setup is a much more efficient and streamlined model. As well as our core HQ team, it will be used by the Barmy Army Tickets, Memberships, Travel and Merchandise departments. Thanks to the sophisticated features of the advanced technology, it will also assist team members ‘in the field’ and can interconnect everyone, making us a truly joined up organisation.
Our operations manager, James Wilkinson, worked with Amvia to fine-tune how the new arrangement can have maximum impact:
“Partnering with Amvia has been a pleasure from start to finish. This new setup will give us more structure and efficiency in our communications, which ultimately, will streamline our customers and members experience.”
Providers of specialist data and voice services, Amvia has partnered with a wide range of companies and brands throughout the UK including CIMB Bank, eharmony, ratedpeople.com and SodaStream. As Amvia is a multi-vendor supplier, whether you run a small startup or a large organisation across various locations, their experienced, dedicated team can tailor a package suited to your unique requirements – and handle everything from start to finish.
