The wait is over! The WICB have finally confirmed the above dates and venues for this eagerly anticipated tour.
In a departure from previous itineraries the tour kicks off in sunny Barbados, the most popular of Caribbean destinations. Following a couple of two day warm up matches in Bridgetown the teams commence battle at Kensington Oval on 23 January. Then its off to Antigua, the island of 365 beaches, for the middle test at the Sir Viv Stadium. The series concludes in St Lucia where England play their first ever Test match at the Darren Sammy stadium.
Away from the action we can’t wait for Friday Fish Fry at Oistins, partying at Shirley Heights and sampling some Green Fig and Saltfish for the first time in St Lucia. Just some of the delights that will await you on this tour.
After the Test series, attentions turn to the shorter forms of the game and the build up to ICC CWC 2019 with a quick island hop from Barbados to St. Kitts, via Grenada and St. Lucia.
Jimmy Anderson goes past Sir Ian Botham's 383 wickets in Antigua, 2015.
